As an introduction, I am Robert Connor. You recently re-did our roof at 9001 69th Ave. East in Palmetto, Regency Oaks Addition. Perhaps no other roofing company has had its work more thoroughly tested than your crew. The day after they finished, we had a downpour. NO LEAKS! Then, at the end of this week, our area had MONUMENTAL rains and wind. Again, NOT A SINGLE LEAK!!! We couldn’t be happier with the work your guys did, their commitment to the task and the professional way they- and you- went about the work. We have had many compliments on the appearance of the roof, and several on the quality of workmanship. The inspector from Manatee County was most generous in his praise of your work! I will be sending a letter to the Regency Oaks HOA for them to share with our membership, as well as other HOA’s within their jurisdiction. I will be sharing a copy of my letter with you.
The request portion of this communication relates to the material you showed us from Owens-Corning that laid in the eaves to keep out leaves and enhance the flow of water during a rainstorm. If you would, when you are in the area, please give me a call and let me know when you can stop by to finalize arrangements to have this installed in the rear portion of the home. My Experiences with a Roofer and an Electrician
Hi Everyone,
I recently bought a house in Venice and had to have the roof replaced(unfortunately) and some wiring redone. Being in Virginia, I spent a lot of time doing research on companies, asking for estimates, quizzing the companies on their estimates, etc.
I chose Olsen Roofing, because their estimate was in the middle of the other two I got and they answered all of my questions (and there were a lot) thoroughly, quickly and pleasantly. Overall, I couldn't be more happy with how the experience went. The guys who worked on my house were extremely respectful, every call I made to their supervisors was returned immediately, and they even offered to cart away trash that wasn't a result of their work. Although the job was nearly complete at the time I had to leave for the airport, they insisted that I not pay $1000 of my bill until the job was finished and they had emailed me pictures of it (which they did.) On the electric front, I hired Best Electric (941) 484-8167, and they, too, were really great. The gentleman who came to my house was right on time, explained everything he was doing, didn't try to scare me or talk me into work I didn't need, and charged me exactly what they said they would, eventhough the work seemed to take much longer and be more complicated than they anticipated.
I'm posting this, because I know how nerve wracking it is to hire someone when you don't know what they are like. I also think good contractors should be supported.
